Yukari is a keyboard player from Japan. She has been living in Illinois in the US since 2003. In Japan , she started learning piano at the age of four. Then in her late teens , she stopped taking lessons in classical music and started playing the electronic organ as an entertainer at hotels, department stores, and weddings. Later, she studied jazz piano with Takashi Miyazawa and Takashi Ohashi. It was with Masato Myokoin that she studied jazz chorus.

For ten years, she was the regular keyboard accompanist in Kazuko Arakawa’s band, "Noside" with them she recorded a CD called "keep on singing". She also played keyboard with guitarist Atsuhiko Sugimoto in his band. Together they recorded two CDs :" Once in a blue moon" and "Magic".

Now she is playing piano at Café Shino downtown in Chicago. And she accompanies a singing grope named Chicago Soyokaze Chorus .
